Why connect your tools to Joinways?
Because software only sees what goes into it. If emails stay in Gmail, messages in WhatsApp, and bookings in a separate calendar, the tool only sees a fraction of the activity. The team retypes the rest, and that is what the connections prevent.
Each connection takes two minutes, without handing us your password. An email sent from Joinways shows up in your mail client, and a confirmed event lands in your calendar. You keep your tools, and they all show the same information.
What happens without integrations?
Copy-paste becomes a job of its own: forwarding emails, retyping dates, keeping two calendars in step. Every retype is a chance to get it wrong, and calendar mistakes surface on event day.
The integrations are what spare you any data entry in Joinways.
How do I connect Gmail or Outlook to Joinways?
From Settings > Integrations, in two minutes. You approve access from Google or Microsoft, without handing over a password, and the mailbox, individual or shared, is connected. Sending and receiving from Joinways works right away.
How does calendar sync work?
Joinways pushes your schedule to Google Calendar and Outlook: events with the statuses you've chosen appear there and stay up to date automatically. You manage the schedule in Joinways, and your calendars mirror it.

Do I have to replace my current tools?
No. Joinways connects to your existing Gmail, Outlook, and calendars. Your emails stay visible in your mailbox and your events in your calendar: everything is simply kept in sync.
How are connections secured?
Every connection goes through Google's or Microsoft's standard sign-in (OAuth), so Joinways never sees or stores a password. You can disconnect a tool at any time from your workspace Settings.
Is there a Joinways API?
Yes. The Pro plan includes API keys and an MCP server. Claude and ChatGPT connect from their connector directories; your own scripts use the REST API.
Do my emails stay in Gmail or Outlook?
Yes. An email sent from Joinways appears in your sent folder, and an email you receive stays in your mailbox. You keep your mail client, and you can disconnect at any time.
Can I connect several mailboxes?
Yes. Each team member can link their own mailbox, and you can connect a shared one such as contact@ or events@. Conversations attach to the same inquiries, whichever mailbox they arrive in.
Does the WhatsApp integration require a specific account?
It runs on WhatsApp Business. Once the account is linked, your clients' messages arrive in the same inbox as your emails, identified and visible to the team, with inquiries detected automatically.
What about booking platforms?
There is nothing to connect on the platform side. The notification emails booking platforms send are read as they land in your inbox and become inquiries, with the date, guest count, and budget filled in when the email includes them. When the email is cut short, the Chrome extension completes the inquiry from the platform page.
