The panel checks the requested date against the schedule of all your venues and spaces. What is already booked shows with its amount.

The Joinways proposal fills in the platform's form

Install the extension from the Chrome Web Store.

Open Joinways in a tab and click Connect in the panel: the workspace is detected.

Open a request on the platform. The panel opens with Alt+J or from the icon.
Chrome 114 or newer. The connection renews itself and can be revoked at any time from Settings > Integrations.
Frequently asked questions
What does a Chrome extension for booking platforms do?
Booking platforms (Peerspace, Giggster, Tagvenue, Eventective…) send venue inquiries by email, then expect the reply and the quote inside their own interface. So the venue works in two places: the platform to reply, its management tool to keep track. The extension removes the round trip by showing Joinways in a side panel, on the platform's page.
No platform gives the venues it lists technical access to handle their requests, and the extension does not need it. It reads what the screen shows, as you do, and writes where you would have typed. Whatever it learns about a platform is reused for the next requests.
Decisions are made in the inbox, and the platform only carries them out. The panel does what requires being on the page: read the request, write into the form, report the status. Creating the event, placing the hold, and finding the client's history happen in Joinways, one click from the panel.
Why an extension rather than a direct integration?
Because platforms do not offer technical access to the venues they list. A direct integration would require an agreement per platform, renegotiated at every change. The extension works on the interface the platform already gives you.
It stays under your control: it only runs on recognized platforms, with the account you connected, and sends nothing on your behalf. A new platform is added on the Joinways side, with no new version to install.
Which platforms does the extension work on?
The booking platforms Joinways recognizes: Peerspace, Giggster, Tagvenue, Eventective, LiquidSpace, Airbnb, HeadBox, Hire Space, Spacebase, and others. The list is kept on the Joinways side and grows without updating the extension. On any other site, it does not run.
Does the extension send replies or quotes on my behalf?
No. It writes the draft into the platform's reply box and fills in the quote form, then stops. The Send button stays yours, and suggested status changes only apply when you click.
What exactly does it read?
The visible text of the request page on a recognized platform: the brief, the contact, the conversation thread. That text is sent to the Joinways workspace you connected, where an AI model (OpenAI) extracts the request's fields from it. Nothing is read on other sites, nothing is sold or shared. Usage telemetry carries only the action name, the platform, and the workspace, never the page content.

Can it overwrite data already entered?
No. It only fills empty fields, in Joinways and in the platform's form alike. A phone number already entered or an amount already written stays as it is.
How do I install and connect it?
Install it from the Chrome Web Store, open Joinways in a tab, then click Connect in the panel. The workspace is detected from the open tab. The connection renews itself and can be revoked at any time from Settings > Integrations.
I run several venues. Does the panel see all of them?
Yes. Availability is computed across every venue and space of the connected workspace, detailed venue by venue. The same request an organizer sent to several of your venues is recognized as one request.
Is it included in the subscription?
Yes. The extension is included in the Joinways subscription and in the free trial, with no extra fee and no seat limit. Each team member connects it with their own account.
Which browsers are supported?
Google Chrome, version 114 or newer, on desktop. Chromium-based browsers that install from the Chrome Web Store generally work, but we do not test them. There is no mobile version.
My platform is not recognized. What now?
Write to us with the platform's address. It is added on the Joinways side, with no new version of the extension, and then works for every venue using it.
What happens when the platform closes or accepts the request?
The panel reads the status the platform shows and compares it with the request's state in Joinways. It suggests the update that brings them back in line: confirm, mark as lost, retrieve the quote. When you click, Joinways applies it, and the event, the hold, or the loss then shows up in the schedule and the reports.
Some platforms require the proposal to go through them. Does Joinways respect that?
Yes. On an inquiry from one of these platforms, the Joinways proposal is marked "To file on" followed by the platform's name, and sending it by email asks for confirmation. No automation sends email outside the platform. You submit the proposal from the side panel, and the version you sent comes back to the event.
