Gmail in your venue CRM: every email linked to its event
Connect your Gmail inbox, individual or shared, in two minutes. You send and receive from Joinways, and each exchange stays attached to the right inquiry, the right client, the right event.
2-minute OAuth setup
You authorize access with your Google account. No password handed over, no IT needed.
Two-way sync
An email sent from Joinways appears in your Gmail sent folder. A received email lands on the right record.
Individual or shared inbox
Each team member connects their own mailbox, and you can add a shared one like contact@ or events@.
What the Gmail integration does, concretely
Joinways syncs with Gmail, it does not replace it. Your emails stay in your mailbox; they simply stop being scattered.
Conversations attached to events
Every thread is linked to its inquiry and its event. When a client writes back three weeks later, the full history is already on their record.
New inquiries detected
An email asking about a date or a room becomes an inquiry in your pipeline, with the venue, date and headcount already extracted.
Send without switching tabs
You reply from Joinways with your own address. Recipients see a normal Gmail email; your team sees it filed on the event.
What syncs with Gmail
- Emails received and sent from the connected mailbox, attachments included
- Threads, attached to the inquiry and event they concern
- Emails sent from Joinways, visible in your Gmail sent folder
- Inquiries detected in incoming emails, with date, headcount and venue extracted
- Several mailboxes per workspace: individual and shared (contact@, events@)
- Two modes: full sync, or plain forwarding of incoming email
How to connect Gmail to Joinways
The connection uses Google OAuth. Nothing to install, and you can disconnect at any time from your workspace settings.
- 1
Open your integration settings
In Joinways, go to Settings, then Integrations, and choose Gmail.
- 2
Authorize with Google
Sign in with the Google account of the mailbox to connect. Joinways stores no password.
- 3
Pick the sync mode
Full sync for an individual or shared inbox, or forwarding if you only want to route incoming inquiries.
- 4
Work from Joinways
Emails start attaching to the right inquiries and events. You send and receive without leaving the platform.
Two situations where it changes the day
The follow-up that lands during vacation
A client replies to a quote while your colleague is away. The thread is on the event's record: anyone picks up the conversation with full context, no forwarded emails.
The inquiry buried under newsletters
A request for a 40-person seminar hits contact@ on a Saturday. Monday morning it is already in your pipeline as a qualified inquiry, not on page 3 of the inbox.
Why connect Gmail to your event venue software?
A venue's inbox is where deals are won and lost: the first inquiry, the follow-ups, the change requests all arrive by email. When that history lives only in Gmail, whoever answers has to rebuild the context by searching threads, and a colleague covering for them starts from nothing. Connecting Gmail gives the whole team the same view: every email filed on the client and the event it belongs to.
The connection runs on Google OAuth, takes about two minutes, and changes nothing in how you use Gmail day to day. Your messages stay in your mailbox, your sent emails in your sent folder. Joinways adds the layer Gmail does not have: the link between an email and the event it is about.
And without the Gmail integration?
Inquiries get handled in Gmail, the calendar and the CRM separately: everyone retypes what the other tool already knows, and important threads depend on the memory of whoever read them.
The real cost is not the retyping time, it is the inquiry that never got an answer because it sat in a mailbox nobody was watching that day.
