Mews availability, on the event you are quoting
A residential seminar inquiry arrives. The rooms free for the whole stay, and their rates, appear on the event record. You answer without opening the PMS, and Mews stays the source of truth.

Read-only by design
Joinways reads Mews and never writes to it. No block pushed, no reservation created, nothing changed in your PMS.
Nothing copied on our side
Availability is fetched for the event dates and displayed. We keep no copy of your inventory, and your token is stored encrypted.
What the Mews integration does, concretely
A residential inquiry always raises the same question: do we have the rooms, and at what price. The answer now lives where the inquiry does.
Availability on the event record
Open the event, open the Accommodation block: room categories, rooms free per night, and the count that decides the deal, rooms sellable for the entire stay.
Rates alongside availability
Choose the Mews rate prices are read from. Each category shows its nightly price and the total for the stay, in the property currency.
One connection per property
The access token is generated in the Mews Connector API and stored encrypted. A connection can be scoped to a single venue, which is what multi-property groups need.
What Joinways reads from Mews
- Your room categories, with their names and capacities
- The rooms free for each night of the stay
- The number of rooms sellable for the whole stay, category by category
- Nightly prices and stay totals, from the rate you selected
- The property timezone and currency, so nights and amounts line up
- Nothing in the other direction: Joinways writes nothing into Mews
How to connect Mews to Joinways
The connection uses a Mews Connector API access token that you generate in Mews. Setting it up is reserved to a workspace owner.

Generate a token in Mews
In Mews, go to Settings, then Integrations, then Connector API, and add Joinways as an integration to obtain an access token.

Paste it into Joinways
As a workspace owner, go to Settings, Integrations, PMS, then Mews, and paste the token. It is stored encrypted and never shown again.

Scope it to a venue if needed
Groups running several properties can attach the connection to one venue, so each event reads the inventory of the right property.

Pick the rate used for prices
Open the settings and choose the rate prices should come from. Until one is chosen, availability shows without prices.

The residential seminar inquiry
Forty people, two nights in March. The Accommodation block says how many rooms are free on each of those nights and what the stay costs. You answer in the minute the inquiry arrived.
The date that looks free but is not
The function room is available, the bedrooms are not. You see it before promising anything, and propose the neighbouring week instead of walking the client back.
Why connect your PMS to your event venue software?
Hotels that sell meetings and events run two systems that never speak to each other: the PMS holds the rooms, the event tool holds the inquiry. Answering "can you take forty people with twenty-five rooms in March?" then costs two people, two screens and a delay the client feels.
Connecting Mews puts the room answer on the event record. Whoever handles the inquiry sees what is free for the whole stay and at what rate, without leaving the record and without a request to the front office. Mews remains the source of truth for the rooms; Joinways reads it at the exact moment the question is asked.
And without the Mews integration?
The event side and the room side stay apart: someone opens the PMS, screenshots the availability, pastes it into a message, and the figure is already stale when the client reads it.
Worse, the proposal goes out with rooms sold in the meantime, and the correction lands on the client instead of on the process.
