ChatGPT plugin
ChatGPT connected to your venue CRM
Add Joinways in ChatGPT. Then ask which room is free, to draft a quote, or to summarise the requests still waiting.
Listed in ChatGPT
Joinways is a ChatGPT plugin. You add it from ChatGPT, you do not install anything on the venue computers.
Live workspace
After you sign in and approve, ChatGPT reads the inquiries, quotes and availability as they stand now.
You approve, you send
ChatGPT prepares. You decide. Revoke the connection whenever you want.
What the ChatGPT plugin does, concretely
ChatGPT talks to the Joinways MCP server. The conversation stays in ChatGPT; the data stays in Joinways.
Availability without leaving the chat
A date and a headcount, asked in ChatGPT. The answer is your live schedule.
Quotes and open requests
Summarise what is waiting, draft a quote, check confirmed events this month — in the same thread.
The same server as Claude
ChatGPT is one client of mcp.joinways.app. Claude uses the same server, the same OAuth.
What ChatGPT can do once connected
- Read inquiries, events, quotes and availability in your workspace
- Check a date and a headcount against your rooms
- Draft a quote, with totals computed by Joinways
- Summarise requests still waiting for a reply
- Update a status or send a follow-up, if you granted write access
- Uses the Joinways MCP server at mcp.joinways.app
How to connect ChatGPT to Joinways
The connection starts in ChatGPT. Joinways only asks you to sign in and approve.
- 1
Open the Joinways plugin
In ChatGPT, open the Joinways plugin at https://chatgpt.com/plugins/plugin_asdk_app_6a03408fb03c8191a640fa3e87276e5f and add it.
- 2
Sign in to Joinways
ChatGPT sends you to Joinways. You sign in with the account of the workspace to connect.
- 3
Approve access
The consent screen lists what ChatGPT may read and write. Approve, and you return to ChatGPT.
- 4
Ask a real question
A date, a quote, the requests still waiting. ChatGPT answers from your workspace.
Two situations where it changes the day
The availability asked in ChatGPT
A client writes “are you free on 10 March for 80 people?”. You ask ChatGPT. The answer is your live rooms, not last week’s spreadsheet.
The morning pass on open requests
You ask for new inquiries, quotes awaiting a reply, confirmed events this month. One answer, from Joinways, in the ChatGPT thread.
Why connect ChatGPT to your venue software?
ChatGPT is already the place where a first draft happens. If it cannot see Joinways, the draft is built from whatever you pasted. Connected, it reads the request, the rooms, the prices you already stored.
The plugin is the Joinways MCP server, listed in ChatGPT. You add it once. You keep the client relationship. ChatGPT prepares; you send.
And without the ChatGPT plugin?
Every useful answer needs a paste from Joinways. The next question needs another paste. The thread never sees the live record.
ChatGPT stays generic. Joinways stays a tab. The two never meet.
