Process a request
Learn how to process a request in Leads: view it, correct AI-extracted info, create an event or reject, with exact UI paths.
How to process requests in Leads (Inbox)
- Open the Inbox
- In the sidebar, click Leads or Inbox.
- Select a request from the list on the left (newest first).
- In the right panel, read the original message and review the AI-extracted fields (name, email, requested date, guests, event type, budget), plus source and date received.
- If available, use the confidence score or AI summary to prioritize.
- Check and correct extracted information
- In the detail panel, edit any incorrect or missing fields (contact details, date, guests, event type, budget).
- These corrected values will be used if you create an event.
- Create an event from the request (when it’s a new opportunity)
- Click Create an event in the detail panel.
- Review the pre-filled form.
- Adjust venue, space, dates, and status (Option, Confirmed, etc.).
- Click Create or Save.
- You’re redirected to the event page; the request is marked as processed and may be automatically linked.
- From the event, you can create quotes, send emails, and add tasks.
- Reject a request (spam or irrelevant)
- If it’s spam, a newsletter, or off-target, click the Trash / Reject icon.
- The request is removed from the main list but can usually be restored from rejected items or via filters.
Tips & FAQ
- Configure real-time notifications under Settings > Notifications (or My account > Settings).
- Use Inbox filters (source, period, read/unread) to focus on priority leads.
- Response time: No technical limit; received date is tracked and response time appears in Reports (Reporting & performance).
- One event per request: Each lead can be converted into only one event. If the client mentions several dates/venues, create one main event and store alternatives as notes or variants in that event.
